Item Description

Tosca was first performed on January 14, 1900 at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma in Rome, Italy. A tragic story of passion and jealousy, Giacomo Puccini's Tosca tells the story of love, lust, murder and political intrigue as the tempestuous singer, Floria Tosca, fights Scarpia, an evil police chief, to save her lover Cavaradossi. Featuring some of the most famous arias, including 'Vissi d'arte, it is one of the world's most beloved operas.

Winner takes home this beautiful, hardbound published libretto of composer Giacomo Puccini's three-act Italian opera, Tosca. Published by G. Ricordi & Co., Copyright 1899.
