The Turtle, the Lotus and the Snake symbolizes renewal and rebirth and transformation across different cultures. They were made by punching holes in 32 gauge copper using rubber mallets and owls. The snake luminary is 10 inches tall and about four inches in diameter. The turtle and Lotus luminaries are 8 inches tall and about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. All three designs cover all sides of the cylinder. All children who are in attendance during the 3 work sessions helped create and contributed to the project.
