8th Annual Best Buddies Life Is Sweet

To support Best Buddies at our schools on Maui, we are humbly asking you to attend the "Sweetest" event on Maui! Your generous contribution to Best Buddies will go toward crucial student leadership development throughout the school year to up to 300 students, scholarship funding and program development.   

Wailea’s top chefs including defending Pastry Chef Ricky Deboer from The Fairmont Kea Lani and runner up Bruce Trouyet of Four Seasons showcasing Tracie Symonds will compete at this exciting community fundraising event to be named Top Pastry Chef of Wailea 2018. Your ticket for Life Is Sweet includes gourmet appetizers and desserts, great Hawaiian live entertainment, a photo booth and a fabulous silent auction.  Local professional body boarder Jacob Romero will also be in attendance. In 2016, we welcomed 150 guests to Life Is Sweet, and are expecting the same if not more in 2017! Attendees include both Maui residents and Wailea hotel guests, which provides great publicity for your business.  

Best Buddies is also excited to launch our silent auction via Bidding For Good to help raise funds for our amazing kids.  Auction will go live on November 2nd and will run until 3:30 pm on the day of the event. 

Life Is Sweet provides vital funding for Best Buddies programs in Maui County high schools and intermediate schools including Baldwin High School, King Kekaulike High School, Lahainaluna High School, Maui High School, Seabury Hall, Iao School, Lokelani Intermediate and Maui Waena Intermediate.

Established in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Best Buddies is a worldwide volunteer organization that creates one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
