Central Care Mission, Compassion Corner Ministry and over 20 of Orlando's Top Chefs are once again sponsoring our annual "A Taste of Compassion Street Party 2014" on April 8, 2014 and benefit auction in downtown Orlando, FLorida
On April 8, 2014, Central Care Mission, Compassion Corner Ministry, and over 20 of Orlando's Top Chefs will once again be sponsoring our annual "A Taste of Compassion Street Party 2014" benefit auction. Last year we raised over $80,000 and of which 90% benefited the organizations directly! And once again we need your help. The Auction Opens on March 20, 2014 on this site.
Central Care Mission
Central Care Mission is a residential rehabilitation program for the homeless and those with drug and alcohol addictions in Orlando. The goal of Central Care Mission is to minister to the whole person – spiritually, emotionally, educationally, and vocationally by equipping those in need with skills and an understanding of God’s plan for their lives. From basic living needs, employment and job development and personal and career counseling, to education and training, life management skills and discipleship, Central Care Mission makes a difference in the lives of those in need every day.
Compassion Corner Ministry
Compassion Corner’s foremost goal is to introduce the homeless to the love of Jesus Christ by extending a hand in friendship, prayer, biblical instruction, and spiritual encouragement. The Corner not only nourishes the soul, but the body as well. On Sunday mornings, Compassion Corner and Central Care Mission join together to provide a hearty breakfast to hundreds of homeless men and women. Compassion Corner, a ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando also provides counseling to assist the homeless in locating jobs, housing and various social services in Orlando.
