Item Description
The Hidden Countship has donated this magnificent artwork by Giampaolo Tomasetti, an Umbrian artist famous for his frescoes and beautiful landscape paintings. Tomasetti's artistic depth is rooted in his deep knowledge of ancient and contemporary art, and his works are housed in a prominent gallery in Bologna. The focal point of the painting is the Ponte Delle Torri Bridge, a symbol of Spoleto, Italy, that is a 285-foot-high aqueduct that once carried water and can be traversed on foot. The landscape also includes the Albornoz Fortress, which dates back to the year 1370 A.D. The frame is two-tone black and gold frame with water gilded face custom made from Artizom Frame Gallery. Size of painting: 25" H x 3' W. Oil on canvas. 2001.
