J.J. Dolan’s opened like a pop-up book—a fully formed institution that sprang up seemingly overnight. But owners Jay "J.J." Niebuhr and Danny Dolan have plenty of experience with bars in Honolulu, coming from Murphy’s and O’Toole’s, respectively. Their experience, combined with a friendly staff and "the best pizza in Ireland" meant the bar had "an instant group of regulars," says Dolan, who says the recipe for success is simple: "We can guarantee a cold beer, great pizza and a good room with nice people."
Located in the popular district of Kaimuki, Honolulu, it is the new craft beer gastropub serving a great selection of craft beer and creative beer friendly cuisine. BREW’d Craft Pub offers rotating craft beers from 19 taps and 200+ bottled beers, as well as a tapas-style menu carefully selected to pair perfectly with beer. Cocktails are also served including specialty craft beer creations. "Farm to table" food is served in an atmosphere that’s sophisticated but casual--perfect for beer connoisseurs and amateurs looking to try a new brew. "We are continuing our mission to grow the craft beer movement in Hawaii and teach people about phenomenal beers that are just now making it to the islands. I view this new adventure as an extension of what we started at REAL a gastropub, our flagship" said Troy Terorotua, Chef/Owner.
