Casa Pelicanos is your dream beach vacation home, just steps from one of the great hidden beaches of the Mexican Riviera, Playa Venados. The lovely home is just 45 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta airport and minutes from the town of Los de Marcos. Step outside and see the breathtaking panorama of ocean in front of you and the lush semi-tropical forest to the side. The air is soft, the scenery breathtaking and the ever-present sound of the ocean is completely relaxing.
You can whale watch, relax while you watching the pelicans soar over the house or take a dip in the pristine warm water. There is a small outdoor restaurant at the edge of the beach where you can enjoy a meal or a cold beverage. At night, take in the stars and the fireflies while you stroll on the beautiful beach. Casa Pelicanos is a refuge from our all-too-busy lives and your stay here will be truly relaxing and refreshing.
Accommodations at Casa Pelicanos are aesthetically beautiful and comfortable with authentic art and furnishings. There are two levels, each of which is self-contained with full kitchens and separate entrances. The downstairs level that's being offered here has two bedrooms with queen beds and two bathrooms. Every room in the house has a ceiling fan to provide a comfortable environment.
Los de Marcos is a small charming town that's not yet a tourist destination. There are a couple of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy and of course a fabulous beach with an adjoining estuary for great bird watching. Check out the town square, the social hub, where fun local events often take place.
For fine dining and shopping you can go to San Francisco, which is 20 minutes south of Los de Marcos or drive another 5 minutes further to Sayulita. Fifteen minutes to the north is La Penita, with banks, ATM’s and a fun Thursday market selling arts and crafts along with deliciously fresh fruits and vegetables.
There are taxis available to and from the airport and in Los de Marcos and upon request. If you really want to explore, it's recommended that you rent a car, available at the airport or in Sayulita.
