Marcy Basel had been studying Acupuncture and Herbs for over seventeen years and has a private practice in Sebastopol. She is trained in Cranial Sacral Therapy, Zero-Balancing, Nutrition, Color healing and Energy work.
The Chinese Materia Medica describes thousands of medicinal substances-primarily plants, minerals and animal products. Different parts of plants, such as leaves, roots, stems and flowers are used. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, herbs are combined in formulas and given to patients to achieve balance and reinforce the acupuncture treatments. Western herbs, vitamins and minerals are also prescribed.
All thing manifest their potencies by means of color. It has a direct therapeutic action as well as a psychological benefit to all of us. Visible light and color influence all living beings. Through the use of color light and colored water, many different ailments can be naturally healed.
