Item Description
Large spoontula carved from a branch from a giant red beech that stood in the churchyard of a Dutch Mennonite church (Doopsgezinde kerk) in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. The bowl has a fluted texture inspired by Swedish carver Fritiof Runhall's work. The handle was painted with homemade food safe egg&oil-paint. The spoon was finished with local hemp seed oil and shellac (over the painted parts)
