Item Description
These mittens are super warm, pretty and soft, with turtle fur lining and wool outer layer. You may wear them fingerless with the top buttoned back, or flipped down for full coverage.
Turtle Fur works hand and hand with cooperatives in a remote region of Nepal to make artisan mittens by hand. It's an arrangement that supports local economies and disadvantaged artisans and herders while allowing them to create goods for the global market. These mittens are also a part of Project Warmth--share a photo of you with the mittens and projectwarmth.org will send another pair to someone in need.
Item Special Note
Price is based on item pick-up at the NRWA River Resource Center at 592 Main Street in Groton, MA. Shipping is available upon request; buyer is responsible for additional costs of shipping and handling.
