This unique film festival invites you to submit your short films, ranging from a quick 30-second snapshot to an immersive 5-minute narrative, showcasing the islands, beaches, and neighborhoods of Fort Myers. Whether you are a seasoned director or a budding storyteller, this is your opportunity to capture the essence of what Lee County is to you in film. Get creative with your visuals and storytelling to explore the rich tapestry of local life and nature. Share your vision, connect with fellow filmmakers, and gain exposure in a dynamic setting. We can’t beat the heat, so we’re going to make June’s night market sweet! 
Join us INSIDE Wednesday June 12 from 5-8 pm for a special edition of our monthly pop-up, Mango Night Market. 
Local author Annabelle Tometich of The Mango Tree book will be present and hosting a talk at 6pm and book signing. FruitScapes Fruit Tree Nursery & Tropical Fruit Market, based in Pine Island, will sell mango and fruit trees on-site and display information about the diverse varieties of mangoes they grow.

David Acevedo seeks to create a fantasy landscape where his memories and history can live in peace. He tries to learn from himself with every brush stroke and allow his mind to wander the state of subconsciousness that he falls into during the creative process. The color palette he uses varies from time to time because of the ever-changing mind that dictates it. Never one to follow recipes, Acevedo creates his own mixture of mediums until he feels content.
Through intentional programming, we are expanding access to the arts for all who seek it. The Alliance for the Arts is a creative hub that spurs and supports self-expression, imagination, and equity. It is the place to gather, meet new people, start conversations, bring attention to, and, ultimately, solve the challenges our community faces.
