About Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum
Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum is a 22-year-old institution which – through exhibits and programs focusing on Native American Indian experience, art, and history -- aims to improve our world through cultural and environmental awareness. We have a Main Gallery which displays Native American art by geographical region, a Contemporary Art Gallery for local artists and curators, and an outdoor gallery in which we identify and propagate plants and trees on which much of Native American culture is based. This year’s goals include bringing a Native voice to everything we do, through new museum tours, updated exhibits, and innovative programming. The museum is open daily May 1 – October 31, Monday – Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday noon-5pm and on weekends in November and December.
