The U.S. Open Scoreboard Auction is Open! Let the Bidding Begin!
The online auction for the U.S. Open Scoreboard is now open. The auction will run from June 15, 2011 to June 29, 2011, with proceeds benefiting the Maryland State Golf Association's Scholarship Fund.
The individual score sheets are from the actual scoreboards at the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club. The individual sheets are 10x48 inches and include the player's name and hole-by-hole scores. Letters of authentication will be provided with all purchases.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for golf fans to own this unique piece of memorabilia from the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club.

About the Scholarship Fund...
Now is your chance to not only purchase a unique piece of golf history, but to do it knowing you are helping to support future college students.
The MSGA Scholarship Fund was organized in 2006 for exclusively charitable and educational purposes, including to award educational scholarships to individuals employed by MSGA member clubs/courses and/or their children, and to students having completed their junior year of high school with a bona fide connection to the game of golf.
In addition to the college scholarship program, the MSGA sponsors the Emmet Gary Scholarship which is presented annually to agronomy students at the University of Maryland. Since 1969, there have been 142 recipients who have received scholarships totaling $250,000. Many of the students have gone on to become golf course superintendents in Maryland and across the country.
