Carroll ISD is a Robin Hood district, which means that for all the tax dollars we pay, our funding is partially reduced to help other schools in the state.  While CISD works hard to balance remaining budgets, this affects the level of funding our school receives.  Despite budget shortfalls, OUES continues to win awards for its excellent performance. This is possible thanks to the amazing staff and teachers, great students, and the generosity of our parents and business community who help fund training, programs, and tools that give us our competitive advantage.

OUES has geared its 2016 fundraising campaign to continue to invest in our new STEM resources, science lab materials, and other reading, writing and math complementary education tools.  In addition we hope to send several staff members to the 2017 Kagan Summer Academy a fantastic learning experience in cooperative learning, multiple intelligences, character education, language learning and emotional intelligence.
