Join the Journey!
Reach the World brings the world into historically underrepresented classrooms. Since 1998, our virtual exchange programs help all people, in all communities to become curious, confident and compassionate global citizens. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, RTW's virtual learning programs are filling deep gaps in at-home learning for low-income students across the United States.
On June 10, 2021, Reach the World will hold its 20th annual and very first virtual benefit. The event includes an online auction beginning two weeks before the event; the presentation of the annual Cronkite Award, which this year will honor entrepreneur Eric Yuan, founder and CEO of Zoom Video Communications; and a virtual journey into a travel-themed Zoom breakout room, hosted by RTW travelers!
Bidding starts on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 12:00 pm EST and closes on June 10, 2021 at 8:30 pm EST.
Your support will help Reach the World continue to build the next generation of 21st-century global citizens. We hope you can join us!

Join us on June 10, 2021 to support Reach the World's global education programs. RTW's programs use the web, messaging and video conferencing to connect youth with world travelers in one-on-one global, virtual exchanges. Our nationwide network of educators, travelers and volunteers are building a more thoughtful and welcoming society by sharing the eye-opening benefits of travel with the youth of today, who will be the decision-makers of tomorrow.
Reach the World's 20th Annual Benefit will begin with a short reception showcasing this year's programs, with options to talk to travelers, test your geography skills, and view student work. After the reception, RTW will present the Alumni Achievement Award to former traveler Kylie Lan Tumiatti and the Walter Cronkite Award to Eric S. Yuan, CEO and Founder of Zoom. Then, attendees will enter themed breakout rooms, guided by a "host" and a RTW traveler.
