American Indian Services 21st Annual Scholarship Gala

Since our founding 43 years ago, AIS has awarded over 52,000 scholarships, investing close to $44 million in Native American students across the U.S. Our mission at AIS, is simple yet powerful: to make quality education accessible for Native students while respecting their cultural heritage and traditions. Today, our scholarship recipients proudly represent over 300 tribes, each bringing unique voices and stories to campuses across the country. 

However, the financial barriers to education continue to challenge many Native students. With the average cost of college tuition now at $25,000 per year, students often face the difficult choice between their studies and meeting daily expenses, like food and housing.

The scholarship gala will help us with our goal to continue our mission and enable more students to attend college without the weight of financial insecurity.
