Tony Bennett is a world renowned singer described as an American national treasure. He has thrilled generations of fans worldwide for over five decades with his singing, but he has also nurtured a lifelong passion for painting and his art has earned international acclaim. He paints under his family name and signs his works Anthony Benedetto. Bennett has created work that ranges from lush watercolors to vivid oils that document his international travel, friends and family. Galleries sell his original works for $10,000 and up and lithographs of his work run between $1,000 and $2,000. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the world. His portrait of Duke Ellington was recently accepted into the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian Institute. This particular lithograph is number 126 out of a limited print of 750 and is matted and framed ready to hang, measuring 21W x 27H.
