Item Description
Enjoy an original signed watercolor painting by Indiana-based artist Steve Polomchak. This artwork is very nicely matted and framed and is ready to hang. Featuring a serene rural barn scene, the muted color pallet is punctuated nicely by a few cheery daisies in the foreground. This artwork exudes quality and would be an excellent addition to any art collection.
The piece measures 23 inches x 29 inches. Please note this is an estate piece, so there may be some very minor wear and tear to the frame.
Steve Polomchak (1922-1996) lived in Crown Point, Indiana where he was a commercial artist by trade. He spent most of his career as Art Director with Federal Sign. Over the years, he became known for his watercolor landscapes, and depiction of the Amish in rural landscapes.
Polomchak published many of his original works and sold his paintings and prints in area galleries as well as at art fairs. His son, Mark Polomchak, adopted much of his painting style with a contemporary edge and continues to share his painting techniques today.
