Item Description
''Real Wellies'' from Gumleaf of England. (Downton Abbey fans take note!!) Handmade in Europe of 85% natural rubber and incredibly comfortable! Butler Outdoor Gear based in Pittsford, NY is the first to bring these fine quality boots to North America.
The Norse boot donated to the WXXI Auction is a women's boot available in fire-engine red, brilliant blue, or black. It's Gumleaf USA's most popular style. Total strangers have been known to stop women wearing the boots in Wegmans to inquire about where to purchase them! Internationally known pianist Simone Dinnerstein (''The Berlin Concert'' and other CD's) wears a pair of blue Norse boots. And WXXI's own Mona Seghatoleslami sports a pair of Gumleaf's Viking boots. Gumleaf boots are also available at The Parkleigh and The Red Barn. So you'll be in GREAT company and your bid will help support classical music in Greater Rochester!
To insure perfect sizing, YOUR boots will be personally delivered within a 100 mile radius of Rochester. Outside of this area, the Norse boots will be delivered by USPS. Deliveries in Hawaii or Banff are negotiable! The winning bidder will be sent a certificate for their pair of boots. The winning bidder can get in touch with Jack Butler at JackButler.email@gmail.com or 585-955-3020 to redeem their certificate. www.gumleafusa.com https://www.facebook.com/Gumleaf
