Item Description
The winning bidder will receive one seat in the Introduction to Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAs) course. Prior knowledge of flying SUAs is not necessary. Flying equipment will be provided to class participants. Any additional learning materials such as books that may be necessary for the course are not included. The certificate is only good for the exact course specified and cannot be transferred.
Course Description: Learn to operate your own Small Unmanned Aerial Systems from the regions top experts. Class participants will receive a Syma X5C Quadcopter and AeroSIM flight simulator and gain thorough understanding of Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) in six 3-hour sessions. DJI Phantoms, 3DRobotics and custom high-end hexi-copters with dual radio controls and first person video will be featured systems in instruction. You will learn how to use and apply multi-rotors, fixed wing and autonomous flight systems. Flight vehicles and their characteristics will be shared and practiced with a computer simulator and hands-on flights of models and multi-rotors. Current FAA rules and regulations plus operational risk and safety issues will be addressed. Each participant will receive a training certificate of completion.
