Item Description
The successful bidder for this item will receive Dharma Eye collective Victoria Knobloch's "Essence" photograph.
In this 2015 photograph two nuns enjoy a walk at Larung Gar Buddhist Institute. If tranquility is needed in this huge place, where more than 10,000 nuns and monks live, they have the almost endless hilly expanse surrounding the institute to which to turn.
Victoria Knobloch works both as a classical singer and a freelance photographer. She is part of the Dharma Eye photographer collective. With her photography she wants to welcome the viewer into the exploration of our complex existence with more awareness and therefore a spirit of discovery, astonishment and appreciation. She is always in search of tranquility, beauty and the little worlds of ordinary people. Next to that her work embraces the fields of spirituality and she especially is fascinated by Tibetan Buddhism; for subjects she traveled to Kathmandu, Nepal; Ladakh, India; and Tibet among others.
Dharma Eye is a Buddhist photographer collective. 25% of all fine art print sales support beneficial dharma causes.
