Item Description
Acrylic
20" x 20" x 1.5"
After studying illustration and painting at the MFA School and Massachusetts College of Art, Kristin Stashenko worked as a commercial artist for 15 years. Tired of working on assignment she decided to take the plunge into fine art. Kristin has become a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, the New England Watercolor Society, the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and the Copley Society of Art.
This painting was inspired by Kristin's summer trips to Martha's Vineyard. She particularly enjoys painting architecture and the way light transforms and enhances. Her process simplifies the image to basic shapes and colors, often times created not necessarily seen.
