Item Description
Watercolor
18" x 16" x 1"
Katherine Honey feels that while it is wonderful to create a work of art that is admired, often her reason for painting is to be engaged in a process that is so encompassing that it is freeing. Like a relaxing vacation, painting renews her. Whatever priorities, emotions, and concerns existed before she raises her brush disappear. Hours evaporate and she is refreshed and ready to focus on what needs to be done. Katherine is a member of the AAM and the Shovel Town Gallery in Easton, MA.
Daisies are always a delight to paint! The artist gathered these daisies and painted them on a sunny day en plein air while she sat comfortably in the shade.
