"Eons" captures Portland history on the Eastern Prom - the industrial era of the Portland Company and the narrow guage railway to the new construction modernizing Portland today. In the background, Portland residential architecture inclduing Victorian turrets and hig rise apartments can be seen.

About the Artist:
Bill Carito was introduced to iPhone photography earlu in his retirement after taking a one-day course at the Studios of Key West. He enrolled in the online iPhone Photography School where he discovered an international community exploring ways to mare art with this device that was always in his pocket. Bill's work has been accepted into juried shows including River Arts Gallery in Damariscotta, Maine, Jag Gallery in Key West, Florida, and the prestigious CameraUSA competition run by the Naples (FL) Art Association. His photos "Save the Last Dance, #2," "Streetcar," and "Hat," have recieved Honorable Mentions in the Mobile Photography Awards international competition, the longest running competition for mobile photography. Bill teaches introduction to iPhone Photography classes at the Studios of Key West and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Southern Maine.
