Making Waves: A Hudson River Museum Gala
On Friday, June 2, the Museum will host Making Waves: A Hudson River Museum Gala with a special summer evening party in our bucolic Courtyard. As we set sail to embark on a new era of the Hudson River Museum, we are thrilled to invite you to our most important fundraiser of the year. The evening will debut HRM's stunning new West Wing galleries with an exhilarating inaugural exhibition Kengo Kito: Unity on the Hudson, an immersive installation made of thousands of colorful hula hoops symbolizing humanity's interconnectedness and our relationship to the Hudson River.
This year we are excited to recognize four honorees who advance the Museum's mission and impact: Tony and Emmy award winning actress Donna Murphy, HRM Trustee Mary Calvi, education champion Eugene M. Lang Foundation, and artist Leonardo Ilianov De La Cruz. The evening will include lavish hors d'oeuvres and dessert at seated tables, plus live music and a silent and live auction, as we celebrate our outstanding honorees.
