Online Auction | Raffle | Dinner & Comedy Show

Community Health Center of Fort Dodge will hold their annual fundraiser on Saturday, October 28th in the showroom at Shimkat Motor Co. The event is called 'Costumes and Comedy'. Guests will enjoy dinner, live/silent auctions and a performance by comedian Keven Horner. While the event is the main piece of the fundraiser there are many ways you can support their efforts.

RAFFLE TICKETS
Tickets are be available from health center staff, at Shimkat Motor Co and online. Tickets are $25 each or 5/$100 and get you entered to win one of three prizes to be drawn for live at the event on October 28. The prizes are $800 Shimkat Prize ($500 gift card and an auto detail) and $500 Grocery Gift Card to Hy-Vee and a $500 Grocery Gift card to Fareway.

ONLINE AUCTION
The online/silent auction will begin on Friday, October 20th at 1 pm with many auction items available to the public for bidding on online all week leading up to the event. The online auction will end on Saturday, October 28 during the event. Some special larger items will be part of a live auction that you can preview online, but must be present at the event to bid on.

COSTUMES & COMEDY EVENT
Tickets for the October 28th Costumes and Comedy event are $45 in advance or $50 at the door. Your ticket for the evening includes a delicious dinner of roast beef or chicken, cheesy hash browns, green beans, taco salad, pasta salad, broccoli cauliflower salad and a dinner roll. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar and an amazing assortment of desserts will be auctioned off during dinner. This year's comedian is Kevin Horner. Kevin Horner is a veteran comedian, ventriloquist, and magician. His unique style and voices will have you rolling with laughter! Plus... don?t be scared, but Kevin will have some very funny audience participation!
We are raising funds and awareness for the services we provide to the community. This year on top of our usual services and clinic needs we will be putting the funds raised towards the purchase of an RV that will be capable of providing dental services in our communities. The mobile dental RV would be fitted with two dental operatoratories and would travel to nursing homes, schools, communities without dental services and areas where patients have difficulty with transportation. With this unit we would be able to provide preventative dental care like exams and cleanings as well as restorative services like fillings and dentures.
