Our 3rd Annual MS StandUp Comedy Club Benefit at the Gotham Comedy Club will take place Monday, September 8, 2025 starring comedian Tom Papa as this year's headliner.
With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success in film, TV, radio and podcasts as well as on the live stage. He is a regular guest on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and the late night TV shows.
The event will include a show with a veteran stand-up comic, an open bar for cocktail hour and during the show, appetizers during cocktail hour, and a Silent Auction!
We are raising money to cover gaps in funding in MS research that is not being met by other resources. The research we fund is a critical paving stone on the path to finding therapies for those afflicted now, a vaccine so that no one gets this again, and eventually, a cure.

MS StandUp holds an annual StandUp comedy benefit at the Gotham Comedy Club to support MS research we consider especially promising. We were able to donate $35,000 in 2024 to support the research of Dr. Jenni Linden at the Judith Jaffe Weill Cornell MS & Research Center. She developed a simple blood test that can determine which available therapies would be the most successful for the particular patient. Previously, the only way to get this information was from an autopsy. The researchers at Weill-Cornell believe that this test can be used for brain diseases other than MS as well.
