Item Description
Chambeyronia macrocarpa-from the Naples Botanical Garden
The Red Feather Palm is one of the most striking palms in cultivation today. Especially well-suited to South Florida, this species is robust and easy to grow in any garden site. Growing to about 20 feet tall, its new foliage is the best reason to grow the Red Feather Palm; new fronds emerge a brilliant red-maroon color as they unfold. The color changes to a rich olive-green and the process repeats with each new leaf. Best grown in a bright location with afternoon shade, this species is trouble-free and rewarding.
