Item Description
Perelman's Kamal 11 is one of a series of collages/assemblages based on an Arabic Design. The work was made using thin copper sheets that were treated with patinas to create the colors and textures. The 'Kamal' series has been recently exhibited at the Upstream Gallery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
Luis Perelman is a widely collected and exhibited artist. His works reside in the permanent collections of the Neuberger and the Whitney, among others, as well as in the private collection of David Rockefeller.
