4 Museum Admission Passes

This museum is a wonderful place to explore with children or out of town guests. The Harvard Museum of Natural History was established in 1998 as the public face of three research museums: the Museum of Comparative Zoology, the Harvard University Herbaria, and the Mineralogical & Geological Museum. Presenting these incomparable collections and the research of scientists across the University, the Harvard Museum of Natural History’s mission is to enhance public understanding and appreciation of the natural world and the human place in it, sparking curiosity and a spirit of discovery in people of all ages. Located on Oxford Street, Cambridge.

Explore 11,000 specimens from around the globe - dinosaurs, meteorites, rare minerals and hundreds of animals and birds.  See the newly renovated Glass Flowers gallery, with some 2,000 models of flowering plants, handcrafted by glass artisans Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka from 1886-1936, so exquisetly accurate you'd swear the flowers were real. Immerse yourself in Marine Life in the Putnam Family Gallery. Get close to the world's only mounted Kronosaurus, a 42 foot long marine reptil; a 1,642 lb amethyst geode; Sperm, Finback, & Right Whale skeletons. Explore the sights and sounds of New England Forests in the Zofnass Family Gallery, plus the new exhibition of Sea Creatures in Class, Blaschka glass models of marine animals made before the Glass Flowers.  "Hive Fice" for "Best Museum", Fodor's Around Boston with Kids. "New England Treasure", Yankee Magazine. Passes include admission to all four Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, including the connected Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology, the Harvard Semitic Museum, and the Collection of Historical Scientific Instruments.
