Mary Wojciechowski, a retired visual arts teacher, is a signature member of the RI Watercolor Society and holds memberships in many other art groups including the AAM. Her work, shown in Gallery 31, Orleans and True Grit Gallery, Middleboro, has been consistently accepted into juried exhibitions. Mary currently teaches workshops on alcohol ink painting throughout southern NE.
Morning Light is one in a series of Mary Wojciechowski's shoreline paintings using alcohol inks. Her many years as a watercolorist have had a growing influence on her recent ink paintings, moving Mary to explore representational imagery with this unpredictable medium. Currently, she works equally in watercolor and alcohol inks and finds that each medium has had a profound effect upon the other.
