Item Description
Macdonald Creeping Bentgrass (50 lbs.) is a versatile creeping bentgrass appropriate for greens, tees and fairways. Named for Charles B. Macdonald who is considered the Father of Golf Course Architecture, the naming of this variety is indicative of its value and performance. Developed by DLF Pickseed and Rutgers University, Macdonald enables golf courses to be maintained with lower inputs and still produce a superior product. It was a top-rated variety in the 2015 NTEP for turf quality, dollar spot and spring green-up.
