Item Description
Acrylic on canvas, framed. Sweet little Rose bear up in a tree says, “Oh, what a night!”
Rose was rescued as a baby by Wildlife SOS, when she was found with a bloody stub instead of a paw (severed by a vicious jaw trap). Today she’s a fit and healthy bear who can climb trees better than most the other bears at WSOS. She has many friends at the sanctuary and loves eating mangoes and watermelon.
Size: 8” x 10” Framed
About the Artist: Belinda Stewart lives in St Augustine, Florida. She works in all mediums but favors watercolors. She studied in private classes with famed watercolorist Mun Quan and art classes at Jacksonville University.
"I got hooked on Wildlife SOS with the first rescue attempt of sweet Mohan. Since being retired, it has been pure joy seeing a picture posted at various elephant and bear sanctuaries and setting it aside to become inspiration for my watercolors. All work is on professional Arches watercolor paper."
