Item Description
Ed Gray or Jikiwe is an Ojibwe artist working in Northern Michigan. Inspired by the natural world of Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, he works in ceramic, metal, wood, bone and leather. Ed is dedicated to the preservation of the traditional culture of the Ojibwe and he is 81 years young.
We are excited to have here for your pleasure a covered ceramic vessel that is hand-carved and clay-covered. It depicts dragonflies, turtles, bears and otters.
