Item Description
Stacked Stones, 2023, inkjet print, 6.4" x 8.8 " / impression à jet d'encre, 6,4 po x 8,8 po
Stacked Stones was made in 2023 while preparing for a group show at the Ottawa Art Gallery. I revisited my archive of film photographs taken after the birth of son and during my second pregnancy. I then digitally altered these film images, inspired by the famous painter Georgia O'Keefe. What resulted is a collection of altered hue photographs, that sometimes read as paintings, which is the point.
