About the artist: Joanna Weir (1952- ), Australian. After a brain scan, Weir used the MRI images to investigate neural pathways, lines to her, which in the right environment can adapt to new functions or completely reform. Her practice portrays how the lines connect one space to another as it journeys through folds and curves creating varied geometry. Weir taught at Victoria University.
