About Jean-Luc Vivier
Born in Provence and influenced by the light and colors of Southern France, Jean-Luc Vivier creates complex and engaging works of art.

He began beauty school at age 15. He went on to get a master's in styling and to teach esthetics in Paris. Jean-Luc's sense of style later led him to remodel Colonial and Victorian houses and work in interior design on the East Coast.

He came to the United States in the late eighties. While becoming one of the most sought-after hair stylists in Washington DC, he took up doing copper designs mixed with stones and wood, created steel lamps, and started to play with epoxy. All his years of experience in beauty, interior design, and architecture have developed Jean-Luc's unique eye for color and volume.

Most of his works have been sold in the United States, but also in Europe. The attached pictures show two of his recent sales: Spring Fever sold to Didier Martin CEO of Christophe Bakery and David Rios Spa ($5,000) and 9/11 Memorial Coffee Table, Owner Louis Sarkozy ($9,000).
