The Tallman Hotel, in the historic country town of Upper Lake, California, is a return to a simpler time. Located just 10 minutes from the Lake County seat of Lakeport, this handsome country hotel, built in the 1890's, was completely restored and expanded to a 17-room luxury facility in 2006. In 2007, the historic hotel received one of seven statewide historic preservation awards and was listed on the California Register of Historic Resources.
