Chris McDade and James O?Brien are the partners behind Brooklyn restaurants Gus?s Chop House in Carroll Gardens as well as Popina in the Columbia Street Waterfront District. Gus?s Chop House takes inspiration from European chop houses and casual bistros that the duo have visited through their shared passion for travel in addition to regional ingredients. Both Gus's and its sister restaurant Popina are rooted in being welcoming places for people to gather over great food and wine in their neighborhoods.
