Artist Statement:
My son and I love to beach comb and this season he has been most in search of old china. This was inspired by a really cool piece he found and spent time restoring. To the patterns in this Cod are meant to represent the beautiful pieces lost at sea and found at shore. While it can be hing as usual, the intention of the piece is to take the hanger off the back and use the cod as a decorate tray of sorts.

Item Special Note
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 9 from 12-3, July 10 from 3-6, and July 11 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sothebys 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or arranged shipping) within 30 days after the close of the auction, it will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
