Description

Give the gift of theatre! Bid on 2 tickets to the Concord Players spring production of The Music Man (Performances: April 26 ? May 11, 2024).

This beloved musical classic tells the tale of the fast-talking Harold Hill, who arrives in River City with plans to charm the town and make a quick buck. What happens next takes the entire town, including himself and Marian, the town?s uptight librarian, by surprise. The show contains big, memorable production numbers such as ?Marian the Librarian,? ?Wells Fargo Wagon,? and ?Seventy-Six Trombones.? Join us as we travel back to 1912 Iowa for a wonderful musical adventure!

The history of the Concord Players date from 1857 when Louisa May Alcott began the Concord Dramatic Union. In 1872, the Union became the Concord Dramatic Club, and, ultimately, in 1919, the Concord Players.
