Description

Wild Hog Vineyard is a small family owned and operated winery and vineyard in the hills between Cazadero and Fort Ross on the Sonoma Coast.

The winning bidder will receive two Wild Hog wines:

- 2017 Estate Pinot Noir.
This is a deep violet, semi-transparent wine. It has the typical black cherry, strawberry along with some prune flavors. The body is muscular for a pinot with a rich consistency. It's a concentrated wine although simple in complexity. For the money, one rarely gets this level of extraction and body from a well regarded appellation.

- 2016 Zinfandel, Fort Ross-Seaview.
Offers aromas of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and wild herbs. The mouthfeel shows an abundance of bramble fruit, smoky cherry, black tea, and fresh cracked pepper wrapped seamlessly around a juicy and structured finish. The perfect California Zinfandel!
