Winner will receive a certificate from Sender One good for an Intro to Climbing or Bouldering Class for two (2) people or General Admission to Sender City for two (2) people.
Sender One intro classes are the best way for new climbers to get started. No experience necessary!
Intro to Climbing Class
This one-hour course is designed for people with little or no climbing experience. You will learn basic knot tying, climbing commands, safety checks, and how to Top Rope belay, manage the rope while the climber is climbing. After completing this course, students will be able to Top Rope climb with a partner at Sender One. This class includes a day pass and rental gear. Students must be at least 14 years of age to take the class. Reservations Required.
Intro to Bouldering
One-hour class designed to provide first-time climbers with the tools they need to have a successful day on the wall. This class will go over climbing basics such as how to use your climbing shoes effectively, how to avoid over-gripping, establishing efficient movement, and basic body positioning techniques. This class includes a day pass and rental gear. Students must be at least 14 years of age to take the class. Reservations Required.
Sender City is an interactive climbing center for kids and adults of all ages. Climb buildings and towers at this fun center located inside Sender One LAX in Los Angeles. Our auto-belay devices automatically retract a cable attached to climbers while controlling the speed at a comfortable pace when descending a climb or activity.
Sender One has locations in Los Angeles, Playa Vista, Santa Ana and Westwood Vilage.
