Artist Statement:
My art is influenced by my love for birds, nature, and a complex family history. I create layered collages with memories, icons, and symbolic elements, using birds as a symbol of resilience. I blend acrylics and oils with transfer prints to create vibrant landscapes reflecting my childhood memories.
Artist Biography:
Tammy Picone Nohelty is an artist educator whose collages explore memory and transformation. Her upcoming exhibition at SOWA in Boston showcases her personal and universal themes. Tammy holds a BFA from Montserrat College of Art, an MEd in Visual Art, and an MFA from Massachusetts College of Art.

Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 13 from 12-3 and July 14 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
