Artist Statement:

The cod proudly displays the racing emblem, as if to ensure that all 2024 Festival events are savored and lived to the fullest, arriving at the finish line with the best experience-enjoying a new forever home.

Artist Biography:

Lucia Balinbin is a mixed media abstract artist, living and working in Marblehead, MA. She is a member of Little Harbor Studios Gallery, Marblehead Arts Association, and the Newburyport Arts Association.

Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 13 from 12-3 and July 14 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.

If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.

If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
