Description

Blue Cape Cellars wines are made in Santa Barbara County and feature vintages from Santa Rita Hills and Los Alamos vineyards. This is a full case of the award-winning 2013 Pinot Noir.

The 2013 Pinot Noir won 92 points and an Exceptional rating with a gold medal at the Tastings.com World Wine Championships. Judges described it as, Garnet color, fruity light-to-medium body and a graceful, nuanced finish with light oak flavor. An outgoing, mature Pinot Noir with a distinctive note of ripe stone fruit; drink up.

The Blue Cape Cellars name and logo honor winemaker Kim Hartleroad's late mother Aletha who proudly wore a blue cape in her duties as a caring registered nurse. The golden fields of grain pictured on the label are reminiscent of the golden wheat she grew up around on her family's farm in Kansas.
