Melissa Riley's work has been exhibited at the AAM, the True Grit Art Gallery, Gallery Twist, the Preservation Framer and former US Representative Joe Kennedy's Office in Washington DC, among others. The exploration of nature with an abstract eye describes what Melissa enjoys creating. She is most interested in a simplification of nature with its overall shapes, colors and composition. Being an outdoor nature lover, painting these imaginary landscapes is a true joy for Melissa! Every once in a while Mother Nature likes to play a trick on us and "April Fool's Snow" is an example of her whimsical sense of humor.
