This is a deep, full-bodied, dry red made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, aged for 24 months in Hungarian and French oak, followed by an additional 6 months aging in the bottle. Deep ruby red with aromas of violets and dark berry fruit, it is lean and firm with succulent tannins and tangy acidity. It is the classic match for Pasta Bolognese, wild boar, and any richly flavored dish featuring red meat.
