Description

This traditional Japanese therapeutic bodywork, based on Five Element Theory, assesses energy imbalances along meridians (energy lines), which may present as pain, stiffness, inflammation, illness, unease. Shiatsu addresses the meridians with attention, through joint mobilization and gentle stretches followed by therapeutic compression with palms, thumbs, knees and feet along the meridians, restoring the body's natural energy flow (Ki).

Carolyn Conner, mama of a North Branch alum (2024), Therapeutic bodyworker offering Zero Balancing, Shiatsu, and Thai Yoga bodywork for pain relief, stress reduction, greater mobility, enhanced resilience and holistic wellness. Attention, Insight, and compassion are my compass. Each session is a unique conversation between your body's wisdom and my present-moment attention. I've learned that healing isn't something I do to you ? it's something we create together, in the sacred space between practitioner and client.
