Enjoy an evening of dinner and cocktails followed by a stimulating talk by brothers Frank and Jonathan Foer at the home of Jill '85 and Rob Granader. Franklin '92 and Jonathan Safran Foer '95 are firmly established in the writing and news arenas, both locally and nationally. Franklin is editor of The New Republic and has written for Slate and New York magazine. He published How Soccer Explains the World in 2004. Jonathan has published three novels: the critically acclaimed Eating Animals, his most recent book; Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close in 2005, and Everything Is Illuminated in 2002. Jonathan attended Princeton University, where his thesis was awarded Princeton's Senior Creative Writing Thesis Prize. He currently is a professor in the graduate creative writing program at NYU. The maximum number of attendees for this extraordinary evening is 30. Date in spring 2010 to be determined.
